The Holistic Moms Network (HMN) strives to connect parents, create supportive communities, and help parents and others to learn about holistic and green living. For parents who choose to raise their children holistically, having the support of like-minded parents is critical. That is why HMN is dedicated to facilitating grassroots community-building throughout the nation, offering moms the opportunity to create local chapters where they can connect and find friendship and resources that are so necessary for successful parenting.
The HMN of the Midlands is one of hundreds of chapters throughout the United States. Our chapter is a diverse group of holistic parents from throughout the Midlands Area. We welcome all area moms (and dads) with an interest in holistic health and green living. Our goal is to develop a thriving local community of holistic parents with a wide range of interests.
Come on out, get connected with other like-minded moms and dads, and catch the excitement of our community! Grandparents, partners and other caregivers are also welcome as members into our organization. Even future parents will find that our organization is a great place to learn and make new friends. We hope you will join us!
We meet the first Thursday of each month at 11:30 a.m. at 14 Carrot Whole Foods, 5300 Sunset Boulevard, Lexington, South Carolina, 29072. Our monthly meetings are a mix of guest speakers, discussions and more. (And 14 Carrot Whole Foods offers a 30% produce sale beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Thursdays!)
In addition to our monthly meetings, we sometimes offer special events, outings and additional opportunities to get involved. There is also a playgroup meeting several times each week, which encourages outdoor play and exploration for our children.
